1 Year Anniversary

Yesterday was the day. the day of our 1st Year Anniversary. the special 11.7.2009

well, we didnt had anything plan out yesterday because i was suppose to work and the skin allergy kicks in so yea. no plans.

but we are going to have our dinner tonight. and i want it to be some place fancy. lol.

The !@$#% Horror

I got freaking skin allergy!

on my special day. lol. 1 year anniversary.

and i cant go to work because of this. what a sad sad thing.

i need money! i need to shop. i feel very uncomfortable if i didnt. lol.

so anyway back to this stupid red and itchy and hot and pain skin. i woke up early today planing to get some fresh and cheap veges in the Otago Farmers Market.

and after i get change i look out the window and thought 'awww, what a nice day. some sun too.'

so i decided to use this cream that my aunt gave it to me. its a moisturizing cream with 20 spf.

and off i go i the market. happily. and to my horror when i came back looking like a freaking red tomato. and my face felt so hot. it was burning.

so i quickly wash wash my face with cold water and cleanser. and until now im still having a super red face.

i used this cream many times before and nothing happens. i don't know why this time my skin reacted to it so badly.

i have very sensitive skin. and i do have eczema too. so yea, i cant simply use any thing on my face.

How to pipe chocolate

I promise to make this tutorial for my good friend Yien AGES ago. and i promise i did actually plan to make this post and i even snap all this pictures like ages ago. on Valentines Day actually. i think.

but i guess i got too lazy? lol.

well anyway, hope she is not mad. and will still find this tutorial useful.

this is my version of how to pipe chocolate to like decorate anything. cakes, chocolate, cookie, bars, whatever you can think of.

and this is an easy way to do it with stuff that home bakers always have around the house.

All you need is,

Baking Paper and Chocolate of your choice

Take out the baking paper

And cut it to this shape
try not to cut it too small or else you will have problem piping the chocolate

Then, put the amount of chocolate you think you will be using on a bowl
and microwave it in medium heat for 30 second

Then take it out and stir it
if its not fully melted put it back in and heat it again
BUT not too long as you don't want to burn your chocolate

take it out and stir it till you get a smooth texture melted chocolate

Next, take the sort of triangle baking paper that you cut earlier

and overlap it from 1 side to the other like the picture
to form a cone

Like this
Hold it nicely, not hard enough to crush the paper and not too soft till you lose the cone shape

Then, scoop the melted chocolate and put it into the cone
you have to work with this fast because the chocolate will be harden very quickly when its cool
and it will block the tip of the cone where the chocolate comes out
Then, hold the nicely and start squeezing the wider part of the cone so that the chocolate will flow out from the tip of the cone

Start piping whatever you want to pipe

PS: if you wanna pipe chocolate on something else before putting on whatever you want to decorate. Example, like i pipe my chocolate on baking paper before i take them and decorate my truffles. Anyway, what im trying to say is, in this situation, always pipe your chocolate on baking paper because it pop out easily (it doesn't stick on the baking paper), therefore easier to handle. but keep in mind that it is very fragile.

Not Fun At All

Its sucks being alone in this cold flat.

He Goes

I can't believe that dummy is leaving tomorrow. well, not back to Hong Kong. but to Queenstown for a ski holiday for 5 days with his family. what a lucky idiot.

even i dont even get a chance to go on a ski holiday. especially to Queenstown. i heard that everything is just so bloody expensive there. but i guess it will be totally worth it. cause Lord of The Ring was shoot there. lol.

Im so not kidding. the breath taking views in the Lord of The Ring is stunning right? and its from Queenstown.

How i wish to go there one day. and go for sking and maybe bungee jumping. well, if i have the balls to do that when the day come. lol.

He will be back on the Friday which is on the 10th and our 1st year anniversary is on the 11th. =)

but, sadly i have to work on that night, on our anniversary. and since money is so important to me now. we are going to have our anniversary dinner on the 12th, the Sunday.

well, i might change my mind and call in sick though. lol.

anyway, hope he brings me back ice cream. lol. he says there is this place in Queenstown that has really yummy ice cream. its so yummy that he dont mind driving all the way there just to buy the ice cream, eat it and drive all the way back here. lol.

but i guess he cant bring any back for me though. cause i bet it will melt when he is on the way back here. T___________T

You know what i realize. that life is actually hard without a camera.

i should actually get a phone with a freaking camera. im so regretting it right now.

i hope someone will get me a freaking awesome phone with a camera. *winks* or donate me an unwanted camera. lol. i will actually take it.

my stupid blackberry does not have a camera. damn! but i actually kinda love my phone though. the main reason is, its the keyboard. its like the laptop keyboard or computer keyboard. totally love they keypad. and with that keypad i actually send longer texts too. lol.

the truth is, i was just lucky enough to found this online, going on $1 reserve on trademe [New Zealand well known online shopping site]

and the seller who was puts this phone on the auction wasn't popular enough so not much people bid on it. so yea. im one lucky idiot. lol. =)

well, i will be even more lucky if someones is kind enough to donate me a camera phone or a camera. lol.
